Olympiakos now stand in the way of their progress on Wednesday night with a place in the last eight up for grabs. The tie is delicately balanced after a 0-0 draw in Piraeus, with midfields both very much on top and few clear chances created. The onus is on the Blues to now take the inititaive back at Stamford Bridge and midfielder Michael Ballack has promised a more adventurous performance. That is understandable considering their daunting home record with Ballack suggesting that they might have even been able to pinch a vital away goal if they had taken a bit more of a risk. But coming away from the first leg with a clean sheet intact certainly puts them in the driving seat and the layers make them as short as 1/4 to finish off the job. Ballack's midfield cohort Frank Lampard, boosted by the news that his red card picked up in the 4-0 win at West Ham has been rescinded, believes that the Greeks could still prove troublesome. This is the first time that they have reached the knockout phase in nine seasons and certainly did a quality job nullifying Chelsea a couple of weeks ago. They already have won away at Lazio and Werder Bremen in the Group stages so perhaps Grant's men are correct not to underestimate them. However, it is hard to look beyond the home side and a more positive outlook should see them create the chances that were so notable by their absence in Greece. The bet for the game looks to be Joe Cole to notch anytime. He hit the target against the Hammers and he is more than likely to get himself into the advance positions that make him so dangerous.
